From the idea to the show

in only two weeks… !

At first, Life For You was nothing more than a crazy idea thought up by two Berlin journalist friends, Christian Maier and Lutz Deckwerth. It was clear to both of them, however, that they should either do the project immediately or forget about it completely. They chose the former. They knew that Second Life was a place where ideas could be put into practice fast than anywhere else! Deckwerth and Maier soon transformed into Harley Kohime and Walt Stevenson – because, don’t forget, avatars don’t need free time or sleep!

But, just as in the real world, nothing in Second Life works without the right man and woman-power, which is why Berlin’s L4 Institute sent a crew of video journalists into Second Life to work as avatar reporters.

Thorsten Strack, Multimedia Producer, managed the technical und structural organization.

And, as you can imagine, this is where the non-stop stress, chaos and all the real fun began. And now, the first edition of Life For You is complete. Who would have thought that so much could be accomplished in just two weeks…
